SCF GEO – Russian Seismic Company a part of SCF Group.

SCF GEO holds the leading position in Russian geophysical 3D marine seismic market since 2011, providing the full range of 2D/3D/4D seismic marine acquisition services.

In 2016 the Company started own processing department to keep the integrated approach to geophysical tasks set by the Clients. Current volume of data processed by SCF GEO reaches 14 000 sq. km.

SCF GEO is operating two X-bow vessels:

  • r/v Vyacheslav Tikhonov (8 streamers);
  • r/v Ivan Gubkin (14 streamers).

SCF GEO successfully acquired more than 40 000 sq. km of complex 3D\4D projects both in Russia and worldwide.

The company has proven reputation for safe and high quality performance in challenging conditions and environmentally sensitive areas with long record of projects carried out in accordance with all the international industry standards, Operation Excellence and Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) principles.

In 2016, SCF GEO was nominated “The Best contractor in Russia in 2015 for offshore seismic”.

Our company was qualified by Shell Supplier Qualification System (SQS) and Eni Spa, Italy.

SCF GEO follows all the guidelines for environment protection. As per industry standards, Marine Mammals Observers (MMO) are constantly onboard when survey is in progress. SCF GEO vessels have corresponding equipment for mammals monitoring installed onboard. The SOFT START procedure is strictly observed and operations can be aborted in case of a warning from MMO on watch.
